WATCH: Michael V., Manilyn Reynes surprise fans with ‘It’s Showtime’ appearance
Kapuso stars Michael V. and Manilyn Reynes delighted the Madlang People after the actors graced the “It’s Showtime” stage and performed with their longtime friend, show host Ogie Alcasid.
In the Aug. 19 episode of the noontime show, Alcasid sang his OPM hit songs “Pangako,” “Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang” and “Dito sa Puso Ko” with Reynes and Michael V. during the singer-songwriter’s production number for his upcoming birthday.
Alcasid’s fellow hosts including Vice Ganda, Kim Chiu, Vhong Navarro, Karylle and Jugs Jugueta were also surprised by their celebrity guests, saying that Alcasid kept it secret from them.
“For the very first time, nandito sa ‘Showtime’ sina Manilyn and Michael V.!” Vice Ganda said. “Ang galing. Nakakanganga.” (For the very first time, Manilyn and Michael V. are here on “It’s Showtime”! It’s amazing. I’m in awe.)
