Pauleen Luna’s Instagram post of her photo with Vic Sotto piqued my curiosity. It also elicited a lot of comments from Pau’s followers.
Most of them said that Bossing and Pau are like Dolphy and Zsa Zsa. Since their photo is out on a social networking site, it’s for public consumption. So I took the liberty of printing it in this column. Pau placed this caption to go with their pic: “Where good friends dine.”
How good is good, Pau?
No network war
MJ Marfori is from TV5 and Oscar Oida is from GMA 7. But love knows no [network] war, because the two news reporters are out to make headlines together.
“We’ve been dating for two years,” says MJ. “Good thing we cover different beats, so there’s no rivalry. He does crime reports. I do entertainment and lifestyle. Conflict lang sa sked ‘cause we’re both on call always.”
Do they trade newsroom secrets? “Nope,” she quips. “I guess that’s what makes our relationship last because we keep our work out of it. Except when we compare our Christmas bonus, hahaha.”
But for sure MJ and Oscar can still count on each other even when there is no 13th month pay to look forward to.
New ‘baby’

Ogie and Regine Alcasid have a new “baby”—their Ryu Ramen and Curry Japanese Restaurant on Scout Lazcano, Quezon City.
“The ramen is a fave of our customers,” raves Ogie. “My business partners and I are also huge fans of ramen and curry, so we made a career out of it.”
The singer-songwriter, actor, host, and now restaurateur in Ogie have all the right ingredients to keep cooking something new.
Sweet offering
The day after King of Comedy Dolphy was laid to rest, his kids had a get-together at their dad’s fave bakeshop, Hizon’s.
They celebrated the birthday of their brother Edwin. Then they visited their dad’s tomb at Heritage Park and brought him his well-loved Hizon’s pastries. What could be sweeter than love even after death?
Personal is better
If Cristine Reyes is really sincere in her apology to her Ate Ara Mina, she should go see Ara personally so they can settle matters in private. It’s funny how she’s been trying to reach out to Ara via Instagram by posting comments about her Ate’s pictures. It’s obviously just for show. Ahh, Sinister Sister!
