Maja Salvador couldn’t help but get teary-eyed while listening to the wedding vow of her husband, entrepreneur Rambo Nuñez, which was disclosed to the public shortly after their wedding in Bali.

The newlyweds were visibly emotional as they vowed to love each other at all costs, where Nuñez spoke about how “destiny” gave he and the actress another chance to never leave each other’s side, as seen in the latter’s official YouTube channel on Monday, Aug. 7.

“I promise that our mothers’ dreams to have a complete family will be achieved through us, because we will [have a complete family],” the businessman said.

Salvador, who’s the daughter of former actor Ross Rival, was brought up by her mom, Thelma Andres. Meanwhile, not much details are known about Nuñez’s family, although his mother is named Marilen Roa Nuñez.

“I promise to be the best event organizer for our future family and the best influencer marketeer for our children. I promise not to leave your side because we’re always going to be on the same side from now on. I promise to be the best father I never had,” he continued.

During their vows, the entrepreneur also spoke about their brief split in 2010, saying they had “dreams to fulfill individually for ourselves and our families.” “Luckily, 10 years [later], destiny has given us another chance to continue what we started,” he added.

For the actress’ part, she said she was on the verge of giving up on love, but remained faithful to the Lord that her “the one” will eventually come.

“Sinabi ko kay Lord, alam ko malakas naman ako sa’yo kaya maghihintay ako. Hihintayin ko ‘yung ibibigay mo sa aking taong totoong magmamahal sakin, ‘yung totoong mag-aalaga sa’kin. It’s July 31, Monday — ang araw na nakita kita uli (I told the Lord, I know I’m blessed with you so I’ll wait. I’ll wait for You to give me someone who’ll truly love me and take care of me. It’s July 31, Monday — the same day when I saw you again),” she said.

Prior to their July 31 wedding in Bali, Indonesia, Salvador and Nuñez initially tied the knot at a civil ceremony in Taguig on Valentine’s Day of this year, which was disclosed by the former during an interview with a lifestyle magazine. EDV
