Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna announced in an intimate pastel-themed gender-reveal party that they are about to welcome another baby girl into their family.
Luna gave fans a glimpse of the party organized by Danica and Joy Sotto, through the actress-TV host’s Instagram page on Tuesday, Aug. 8. The couple’s firstborn Tali was present at the event, alongside Helen Gamboa, Ciara Sotto, Oyo Sotto, Kristine Hermosa and Marc Pingris, among others.
“…Our dear family, headed by [Danica and Joy Sotto] threw an amazing gender reveal party for us,” Luna said in the caption. “So so grateful for a fun-filled afternoon! Hindi ako nakatulog last night because hindi ako maka-move on.”
(I could not sleep last night because I could not move on from the party.)
The party backdrop was inspired by a boxing ring with a huge “What will Baby Mochi be?” written in the middle, and with a “pink corner” on the left side and “blue corner” on the right side.
During the party, mascots of a baby girl and a baby boy jokingly had a fistfight wherein the former eventually won. The guests then popped pink party poppers, indicating that the couple is expecting a baby girl.
“Ngayon lang ako nakakita ng gano’ng gender reveal—nagsapakan,” Vic said in a separate video. (This is the first time I experienced such kind of gender reveal—through a fistfight.)
“Natalo ako ah, kasi akala ko boy,” Luna then stated. “Sila ni Tali, [ever since ay girl]. Malakas sila magdasal.” (I was defeated because I thought it was a boy. Vic and Tali want to have a girl ever since. They must have prayed really hard.)

Vic and Luna tied the knot in January 2016, then welcomed Tali in November 2017. The couple confirmed Luna’s second pregnancy last July 29 after weeks of speculations. /ra
