Dennis Padilla and Quia Aryanna Barretto, daughter of actress Claudine Barretto, are set to work together in the upcoming film “Magic Hurts,” which is helmed by filmmaker Gabby Ramos.

Barretto made the confirmation through some behind-the-scenes photos of her daughter and former brother-in-law, as seen on her Instagram account. This comes months after her emotional reunion with Padilla, which took place during the dedication of the actress’ children.

“‘Magic Hurts.’ Starring Aryanna Barretto @aryannabarretto with Dennis Padilla , a Gabby Ramos film [heart emojis] @dennisastig @direkgabby,” she said in the caption.

Padilla expressed his excitement for Quia’s acting prowess in the comments of Claudine’s post, as he described her as a “natural.”

The photos, however, drew mixed reactions from netizens in the comments, with some wondering if Padilla would ever reconcile with his ex-wife Marjorie and children Julia, Claudia, and Leon.

The movie, produced by RemsFilms, also stars Beaver Magtalas, Mutya Orquia, and Maxine Trinidad.

Details about its storyline and premiere date, as well as Padilla and Quia’s roles, are yet to be disclosed, as of this writing.

Prior to the film’s production, Claudine assured Padilla that he’s “welcome” to visit her children Santino and Sabina “anytime” last June, after the latter expressed how much he misses his ex-in laws. EDV
