Alden Richards visited the Philippine Consulate Office in Los Angeles, California, where he reunited with his former “Eat Bulaga” co-host Ruby Rodriguez.
Richards wrapped the comedian in a tight hug, as seen on the latter’s Instagram page on Friday, Aug. 4. During the visit, the actor was with Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee, whom Rodriguez met as well.
“I’m so happy to be reunited with my anak [son Alden Richards] and the beautiful [Michelle Dee],” Rodriguez said in the caption.
Rodriguez also showed another photo of her with the actor on her Instagram Stories, with the song “We Are Family” by Sister Sledge added in the background. Richards, in turn, reposted this snap.

Fans were delighted upon seeing Richards and Rodriguez together, with some expressing their longing to see the former “Eat Bulaga” hosts with their fellow “Dabarkads.”

Rodriguez was one of the hosts of “Eat Bulaga” from 1991 to 2021. The comedian is currently based in the United States and has been reportedly working at the Philippine Consulate Office in Los Angeles since 2021.
Just last month, Rodriguez reunited as well with former “Eat Bulaga” co-host Jose Manalo in Los Angeles. /ra
