Comedy King Dolphy will take a final bow at this year’s Cinemalaya. The closing film in this year’s fest is Mar S. Torres’ “Jack en Jill,” which starred Dolphy as the gay brother of a tomboy played by Lolita Rodriguez. The tribute is on July 28, 9 p.m. at the CCP Little Theater, said Tess Rances, deputy festival director. “Everyone knew then that Dolphy was a great dancer, but ‘Jack en Jill’ proved he was an even greater comedian,” said Marichu Maceda of Sampaguita Pictures, the film’s producer.
