Kris Aquino disclosed that she gave Mark Leviste a ring symbolizing their “love and friendship,” which she said will remain whether they “make the journey together” or not.

The Queen of All Media spoke about this as she responded to fan account Kris Aquino World, which took notice of the “trinity ring” Leviste was wearing in one of his recent Instagram posts. The fan account cited netizen comments in the Batangas vice governor’s post, speculating that the ring was from Kris.

“Marc and I both know we still have a lot of work to do as far as communication and not misinterpreting each other’s words—the important thing is that we both know our kids come first,” Kris wrote in the comments section.

“The reason I gave him the ring was first of all, we were very much together then BUT whether we can make the journey together reach the finish line: the love, friendship, and the fidelity (meaning loyalty and commitment) to honor and respect what was and what is shall remain SOLID,” she then confirmed.

Aquino admitted that with her five autoimmune conditions, the odds of her “getting to the point of remission are very much against [her].” This, according to the former actress, is the reason why she is “learning to be grateful” every day and why she has been “[avoiding] discussing the future.”

“The old me would be messaging Vice Gov. Marc (it’s really with a C) to argue with him on why he couldn’t keep this private, but I’ve learned to accept him in his totality in the same way that he has learned to accept me for me,” she explained.

“We’re trying our best to make what we have work, and if I’m being 100% honest, a lot of my motivation comes from the fact that kuya, Bimb, and I feel genuine affection and concern for his daughter…and his youngest C2,” she added, revealing that C2 has been staying with her in the United States.

Aquino also underscored how she is “very blessed” because she has a good relationship with Leviste’s children despite the difficulty “for kids to get along with their respective parent’s new partner and his or her kids.”

Leviste, for his part, responded to Aquino by expressing his love for her.

Aquino made public last May 18 her relationship with a certain “Marc,” who was later confirmed to be the Batangas vice governor.

Aquino then disclosed in July that she had asked Leviste for a “pause” in their relationship before the politician left California—where the former actress currently stays for her medical treatments—to return to the Philippines.

Aquino later revealed that she chose to end her relationship with Leviste because he had “many dreams left to fulfill” and “many obligations” to his constituents in Batangas.  /ra
