Earbuds, BTS albums and a 17-year-old pillow
This trio of Sparkle Teens is determined to make a mark in the show biz industry, but not before setting out to improve themselves and hone their talents.
Antonio Vinzon’s goal is to be as famous as his father, action star Roi Vinzon. Waynona Collings wants to challenge herself by portraying different characters, while Gaea Mischa aims to be a positive influence on other teens to be better versions of themselves.
“Growing up, I witnessed my father’s pure dedication to his craft,” Antonio said. “I know it’s harder to achieve consistency than fame in our industry, which is why I am always working on my values, skills, and attitude towards different types of people.”
To this end, he has been attending acting workshops that have been a big help in boosting his self-confidence.
“I also want to hone my skills in singing and dancing. I want to have a chance to perform onstage and showcase my abilities in hosting as well,” he added.
Sharing playlists
Antonio enjoys listening to music by popular Fil-Am singer Bruno Mars and Canadian R&B singer Daniel Caesar. His favorite thing? A pair of slightly scuffed earbuds.

I keep it in my pocket and place it in a safe space when I get home where my sisters can’t find it.
Antonio said he can easily identify his earbuds by the texture and even the stains. It automatically connects to his phone.
“I named it ‘For Antonio’s ears only’ because if your sisters keep borrowing your stuff, you just have to label everything like that. I keep it in a safe place when I get home where they can’t find it. I think it’s special to me because it reminds me of them.”
Certified Army
Meanwhile, Waynona is a certified Army and said her favorite things are her BTS albums, a Christmas gift from her parents.
“I remember watching a lot of album unboxing videos on YouTube and I low-key got jealous. I appreciate that my parents gave them to me. BTS really makes me happy,” Waynona said.
She keeps her collection of memorabilia on a dedicated shelf in her room. “When I’m having a bad day, I listen to and watch BTS. I love their music and I love them.”
For her part, Gaea who recently turned 14 also loves music. “I am a singer, but I know that there’s more to improve and learn as I grow. Acting, hosting and dancing are my newly discovered passions.”
One true love
Her favorite thing is a 17-year-old pillow that was originally her older brother’s pillow. “I named it Pillowy and it’s way older than me,” Gaea said.
She “inherited” the pillow that has always been by her side at night. The only time they were separated was during the clashes in Zamboanga when she was a child.
“I was around 4 years old when we used to live in Zamboanga City. This was the time when there was an ongoing war in the city and we had to evacuate. I remember that I spilled noodles on my Pillowy. Because we were in a rush, we had to leave it behind. It was so heartbreaking for me. It took a while before I got it back. My parents tried to replace it, but Pillowy is my one true love,” she recounted.
A 17-year-old pillow must be dank and musty, but aside from the cotton batting getting all lumped together, Gaea said it has “aged gracefully” and she makes sure it’s clean and smells fresh.
“I have it with me all the time. I brought it when we went abroad as far as China, Hong Kong, Dubai, and even the US. With my Pillowy, I always feel safe and at home wherever I go.” INQ
