Isko Moreno signed a contract with the GMA Network’s talent management arm, Sparkle, and looked back on how the Kapuso network served as his “home” when he was just starting his showbiz career.

Isko announced the new chapter of his career by showing moments from the contract-signing event through his Facebook page on Thursday, July 20.

(Whenever a door closes, a window always opens. Today, I opened another chapter [in my career].)

Isko then recounted how he entered show business as part of the iconic teen variety show “That’s Entertainment” as well as “GMA Supershow,” which were both hosted by the late German Moreno and broadcast by GMA.

(It’s widely known that before I entered politics and was trusted by the public, show business served as my steppingstone to escape poverty.)

Kaya, it’s good to be home…where I started and start over again,” he continued.

(It was through Kuya Germs [who hosted] “That’s Entertainment” and “GMA Supershow”–that’s why it’s good to be home, where I started and [will] start over again.)

Isko expressed his gratitude to the network for “opening its doors” for him once again, and underscored, “Masaya akong magbalik sa aking first love bilang ta-artits dahil malaki ang utang na loob ko sa industriyang ito.”

(I am happy to be back to my first love—being an artist—because I owe this industry a huge debt of gratitude.)

Isko was then greeted with congratulatory messages from ecstatic fans who expressed excitement over the TV host’s upcoming projects.
