MANILA, Philippines—“American Idol” runner-up Jessica Sanchez and DeAndre Brackensick are dating.
“Yes Jessica is my girlfriend :),” revealed Brackensick, 17, on Twitter. “Me and Jessica are officially dating:)”
Brackensick was eliminated after the Top 8 of the top rating American television show’s season 11, where Phillip Phillips got the crown during its finale on May 24.
During a chat with fans Thursday via UStream, 16-year-old Sanchez was asked by a fan, “Got a boyfriend?”
She replied: “Yup. DeAndre. Haha! He’s my boyfriend. Love you guys. Byeeee!”
The couple, along with the rest of the Top 10, will go on an annual “Idol” tour this summer.
