Gehlee Dangca and Aya Natsumi, aspiring K-pop idols in the Philippines, were among the contestants of the upcoming Korean survival show “Universe Ticket,” where trainees from different countries will compete to be part of a project girl group.

Dangca and Natsumi were unveiled along with fellow aspirants from South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, China, and Vietnam, as seen in the show’s official Twitter page on Thursday, July 13.

The photos showed the Filipinas dressed in a pink varsity jacket and an all-white garb, which could be seen as their official outfit for the survival show.

The show’s tweet revealed that Dangca’s Myers-Briggs personality is an INFP, while her “word of resolution” is that “nothing will stop” her from debuting as a K-pop idol.

Meanwhile, Natsumi said she’s “confident” in her singing prowess, and is excited for the next step in achieving her dream.

“I am confident in my singing ability and charming personality! I want to start my adventure towards my debut,” she wrote in Korean.

“Universe Ticket,” which will premiere sometime this year, revolves around 82 candidates competing for a chance to be among the eight winners of a K-pop project girl group, according to a report from Korean media outlet FN News.

The show follows the pattern of survival shows in South Korea, which witnessed the formation of project groups I.O.I, Wanna One, IZ*ONE, X1, and Kep1er, among others. EDV
