Jasmine Curtis-Smith starts filming movie with Jerome Ponce, Diego Loyzaga
Kapuso actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith teased her upcoming project “A Glimpse of Forever,” as she revealed that her film with Jerome Ponce and Diego Loyzaga has commenced filming.
On Instagram, Curtis-Smith shared behind-the-scenes snaps from the Jason Paul Laxamana feature. In her post’s caption, Curtis-Smith introduced her character, Glenda, who she described as “your tie dye queen,” at a shop called Tie Dye Chic.
The photos showed several scenes from the movie — her character seemingly talking to a customer, with Ponce, and with Loyzaga in what looked like an emotional scene.

Laxamana, who also wrote the film’s screenplay, revealed via Instagram that Ponce will be portraying the role of Dante, who he labeled “Mr. Social Anxiety.”

A few days later, on July 12, he posted a snap of Curtis-Smith, and wrote in his post’s caption, alluding to her character, “She wants the boy-next-door.” Aside from the roles of Ponce and Curtis-Smith, the production has yet to unveil other details regarding the film’s story.

The “Between Maybes” director has hinted of the upcoming film since last month, posting on Instagram about his “[s]cript dissection and character calibration” with Curtis-Smith, and workshop with Loyzaga and Ponce. Basing from his posts, other cast members include Mayton Eugenio, Ryle Santiago, Vito Marquez, Migo Valid, and Martin Venegas.
Curtis-Smith is also set to act in the Kapuso afternoon drama “Can’t Let Go” with Rayver Cruz, Gina Alajar, and Martin del Rosario, among others. Ponce, in his most recent film, “Martyr or Murderer,” portrayed the role of the young Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr.
Loyzaga, who recently surprised the public when he seemingly confirmed becoming a father, starred opposite Julia Barreto in “Will You Be My Ex?” which was released last month. EDV
