Eleven years after his debut, Do Kyung-soo — also known as EXO’s D.O — sent fans into a tizzy after he finally opened his personal Instagram account.

D.O’s social media debut was announced at EXO’s comeback show on Monday, July 10, taking place on the same day the group released their seventh album “Exist.” The K-pop idol is known for not having a social media presence, with some fans joking that he only maintains an email account.

The “That’s Okay” singer’s username, @d.o.hkyungsoo, is an apparent combination of his stage name D.O and his birth name Do Kyung-soo. He currently has over 865,000 followers, as of this writing.

The actor-singer is seemingly enjoying his time on the social media platform so far, though he did not caption his posts, sharing only a behind-the-scenes look of EXO’s comeback as his very first post, and then his upcoming film “The Moon.”

D.O’s bandmate Chanyeol, who’s known for being active on social media, appeared to be shocked about the former’s Instagram account as well, as he wrote “I can’t believe it” in Korean, as seen on one of his posts.

Many fans also took to Twitter to express their excitement about the actor-singer finally opening an Instagram, with some noting how “active” he is on social media.

Chen is the remaining EXO member who doesn’t have an Instagram account, as of this writing.

D.O debuted as the main vocalist of EXO in April 2012, where he was part of its sub-unit EXO-K. He then debuted as a solo artist in July 2021 with the eight-track album “Empathy,” which contains songs in English and Spanish.

The EXO member also made waves as an actor, where he appeared in various series and films including “100 Days My Prince,” “Bad Prosecutor,” “Swing Kids,” “My Annoying Brother,” and “It’s Okay, That’s Love,” among many others.

He is set to star in upcoming films “The Moon” which will be released in the Philippines this coming August, and the Korean remake of the Taiwanese film “Secret.” EDV
