South Korean actors Kim Seon-ho and Han So-hee may soon be reuniting in the romance series “Can This Love be Interpreted,” although their participation is yet to be confirmed.
The actors’ casting was first reported by Korean media outlet Xportsnews last Monday, July 3, where popular screenwriters Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran were tapped to write the script. The sisters are best known for their work in “You’re Beautiful,” “My Girlfriend is a Gumiho,” “My Girl,” and “Hotel Del Luna,” among many others.
Kim, who was said to star as the lead, is said to be considering the offer, according to his label Salt Entertainment, although his participation is yet to be confirmed, as of this writing.
“Kim Seon-ho received an offer to star in Hong Sisters’ new project ‘Can This Love be Interpreted?’ and he is positively reviewing the offer,” Salt said in a statement, per a Soompi translation.
On the other hand, Han’s agency 9ato Entertainment said “nothing has been decided” about the actress’ next project.
“Hong Sisters’ new project ‘Can This Love be Interpreted?’ is one of the projects she has received an offer for. Nothing has been decided regarding her next project,” the agency said.
“Can This Love be Interpreted” revolves around an interpreter and an actor who are unable to understand each other when it comes to expressing love, per report. Details about the full cast and production are yet to be disclosed.
The report comes five years after Kim and Han starred as the second leads in the period K-drama “100 Days My Prince” in 2018, where they worked together with EXO’s Do Kyung-soo and Nam Ji-hyun.
Kim gained widespread popularity after starring in the hit K-drama “Start-Up.” He also starred in the series “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” and the film “The Childe.”
On the other hand, Han’s breakout role arrived in 2020 where she portrayed a mistress in the series “The World of the Married.” She soon landed lead roles in the series “Nevertheless,” “My Name,” and “Soundtrack #1.”
The actress is set to work with Park Seo-joon in the upcoming series “Gyeongsong Creature.” EDV
