Pauline Amelinckx is now in Poland to vie for the Philippines’ second Miss Supranational crown in the upcoming pageant this coming July.
Amelinckx met up with her fellow candidates at what seemed to be a day of settling in the hotel, via her Instagram Story on Monday, June 26, where she was seen posing for a selfie with her pageant sisters.
“Mabuhay, all the way from Poland! Mini update [or] story time: I landed safely with all my luggages [intact]. Thank God for that. I was finally able to catch up on sleep on both flights. I woke up to the female flight attendant covering me with [a] blanket and as a lamigin, that was the sweetest thing,” she said.
The beauty queen then shared that she and her fellow delegates are trying to “memorize” each other’s names, as she said the European country is like a “scene from an old romantic movie.”
“We arrived [at] the hotel about an hour ago. The rest of the day will be dedicated to getting settled in. For now, sharing here a selfie with other delegates. We are all trying to memorize each other’s names already. Wish us luck with that hihi.” she said.
“On another note, the landscape in Poland is beautiful. Like a scene from an old romantic movie. Making an extra effort to cherish every little detail from this journey,” she continued.
In a separate post, Amelinckx thanked the Miss Supranational organization for an “eventful” first day in the country.
“Thanks, @misssupranational for giving [me] this experience. Swipe to see a selfie with some of my Supra Sisters! It’s exciting to think that at the end of this journey we each have at least 1 friend in another country [emojis] But! We’re not there yet. This was still an eventful day 1,” she said.
The Boholana-Belgian also spoke about the “diverse” cultures of her fellow candidates, saying she’s looking forward to “enriching” their souls in the global tilt.
“All our cultures are so diverse and [that’s] exactly what makes this journey so interesting! Excited to enrich our souls even more on this Supra journey,” she said.
Amelinckx, who was crowned as Miss Supranational Philippines 2023 on her third attempt, will represent the Philippines in the upcoming pageant on July 14.
