Kapuso actress Kyline Alcantara kept it calm and composed during her first encounter with her “idol,” veteran actress Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo.
In a short video the “Inagaw na Bituin” actress shared on Instagram, the two are seen posing for some photos, presumably on the same day they taped for “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.”
Contrary to her composed demeanor in the video, Alcantara’s caption revealed her true feelings about meeting Santos-Agoncillo, who she described as her “idol.”
“Grabe. Sobrang kinikilig po ako dito. [shy monkey emoji],” the “Annaliza” actress claimed. She then proceeded to tell Santos-Agoncillo, “So happy to see you in person po, Ms. @officialjuday [smiling face with open hands emoji].”
“FINALLY! [both hands raised emoji] [teary-eyed face emoji],” she emphasized.
The “Luv Is: Love at First Read” star also shared their encounter on her Instagram Stories, which Santos-Agoncillo saw and reposted on hers.
In her Instagram Story, Santos-Agoncillo reshared Alcantara’s post, saying, “It was nice meeting you too @itskylinealcantara [heart emojis].”
The encounter made some users excited about the prospect of the two working together in an acting gig. One netizen commented on Alcantara’s post, “My two local favorites, Miss Judy Ann and Kyline Alcantara. I hope may movie and series sila together. [face with heart-shaped eyes emoji]” (I hope they’ll have a movie and series together.)
Like Santos-Agoncillo, Alcantara started out as a child star in the entertainment industry. She competed in the fourth season of the kiddie edition of “Star Circle Quest,” and although she failed to win the talent search, she was able to land roles in different Kapamilya programs before making a transfer to the Kapuso network.
