Dominic Roque hints engagement with Bea Alonzo will happen ‘soon’

Dominic Roque reiterated that he has not popped the question yet to his girlfriend Bea Alonzo, but he appeared to have hinted that it would be anytime “soon.”
The celebrity couple was earlier hounded by engagement speculations after the actor showed photos of them together, which were taken during their romantic getaway in Amanpulo. The actress then clarified that they were just throwback photos, and that she and Roque are not yet engaged.
During the recent MEGA Ball, Roque and Alonzo were once again asked about their reactions to the engagement speculations, as seen in a video shown by entertainment reporter MJ Marfori via her TikTok page on Tuesday, June 13.
“Actually, mukhang engagement talaga pero it was 2021 pa ‘yung picture namin na ‘yon. Late lang lagi talaga akong magpost,” Roque said. (Actually, it really looked like it was an engagement [setup] but those photos were taken in 2021. It’s just that I always post photos way after they was taken.)
Marfori then asked, “Will it be next?”, to which Roque replied affirmatively.
“Yes, it will. It will be next. Soon,” he answered briefly.

Fans then gushed over the celebrity couple, with some pointing out Roque’s straightforward answer when asked how sure he was of Alonzo.
