While Octo-1 didn’t exist in the original Japanese anime, the character is a seeming adaptation of Takko-1, a flying octopus robot who is considered as the sixth member of the Voltes V team.

“Voltes V: Legacy,” which is described as a “100% Filipino made” series by filmmaker Mark Reyes, stars Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega, Raphael Landicho, Matt Lozano, and Radson Flores. EDV
