WATCH: Anne Curtis is just a woman on the street to NYC-based TikToker
Did he really not know the Philippines’ “Dyosa?”
In what has become a viral video on TikTok, “It’s Showtime” host Anne Curtis seemed to be just another face to New York City-based digital content creator Shan Rizwan, who ambush-interviewed the actress for his “Guessing Jobs in New York City” segment.

Rizwan, who—in one of his YouTube uploads—shared that he has Filipino blood, asked Curtis a bunch of questions to help him figure out her profession.
He first asked the Kapamilya actress “Do you like your job?” to which Curtis replied, “Yes, I love my job,” and further agreed to Rizwan’s follow-up query if it is her dream job.

The street interviewer then wanted to know if Curtis’ job requires frequent travels, to which the “Just a Stranger” star answered that it “sometimes” requires traveling.
For his final question, Rizwan asked, “[Do] you have your own business, like you sell a product?” After a confirmation from the actress-host, he followed it up with “Is it clothing?” to which Curtis responded, “No, makeup,” and she proceeded to name her brand “blk cosmetics.”
In the comments section of the video—which has garnered over 27 million views—users informed Rizwan of Curtis’ popularity.
One user was skeptical if the TikToker really had no idea who the actress was, claiming that surely “he knew” about Curtis as “he’s a Filipino.”
Millions of views and thousands of comments later, Rizwan—through another TikTok video—confirmed that he really did not know who Curtis was prior to the interview, describing the encounter with the actress to be “one of the craziest things to ever happen to me.”

He also thanked the Kapamilya actress for doing the interview, claiming that “she easily could’ve just blown me off,” adding how that’s the case most of the time for him “as a street interviewer in New York City.”
“She was super humble for all the things that she did. [She] just gave a super down-to-earth vibe,” Rizwan recalled of Curtis.
He ended the video telling the actress that “if you’re watching…, just let me know” if she ever wants to do a part-two interview. /ra
