A month after they were revealed to be dating, Taylor Swift and Matty Healy have reportedly broken up due to their differences and busy schedules.
The pair’s supposed split was disclosed by an insider to Entertainment Tonight on Monday, June 5.
“Taylor and Matty broke up. They are both extremely busy and realized they’re not really compatible with each other,” the source was quoted as saying.
“Taylor’s friends want what’s best for her and aren’t shocked that their relationship fizzled out since she recently got out of a long-term relationship,” the source added.
Another insider apparently confirmed the breakup to People, saying, “She had fun with him, but it was always casual. They are no longer romantically involved.”
Swift and Healy’s dating speculations arose in early May, weeks after the “Midnights” singer’s supposed split with British actor Joe Alwyn was made public. While Swift and Healy did not immediately confirm the dating rumors, The 1975 frontman was spotted in attendance at Swift’s shows.
Both Swift and Healy have yet to address the breakup rumors as of this writing. /ra
