Kris Aquino pens emotional birthday greetings to son Joshua amid separation

As she is physically unable to be with her firstborn son Joshua on his 28th birthday, Kris Aquino will miss out his celebration and would just shop for new clothes for him to be delivered by a visiting “super special someone.”
In an Instagram post, Aquino said Josh’s birthday is a mix of happiness and sadness for her because she would be absent on the special day of her son, who is staying in the Philippines with some relatives, while she continues her stay in California in the United States for treatment of her autoimmune diseases.
“Kuya, I miss you, and I love you so much… You’re where you want to be, surrounded by so many who love & care for you,” Kris shared, capturing her initial message.

“Yesterday was only the 4th time in 1 year of being in the (American flag) that mama went to a mall because I wanted to be the one to choose your new clothes. I’m so proud of you! Because of your discipline, jogging & swimming every day, you’ve already lost more than 20 pounds,” added the TV host-actress.
The Queen of Talk further revealed her strong desire to personally give Joshua the gifts she bought and prepared for him, but it may take a while before she can return to the Philippines. She said that she would need to semi-isolate in three weeks because her immunity went down.
“Some people who love & miss you from here + 1 super special person will arrive in a few days to personally bring home all your gifts,” Aquino said. “You promised me you’ll spend Christmas up to my birthday here. Please keep praying for all of us? Happy Birthday to our super guapo Kuya, I love you so much & yes I’m taking care of myself.”
Aquino did not say who the “super special person” she was referring to, but she recently confirmed that she is in a new relationship with a certain “Marc,” referring to Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste, who has been visiting her in the US.
