MANILA, Philippines – Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, Miss Grand International 2016 first runner-up Nicole Cordoves, and Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2014 MJ Lastimosa were among the standouts at the Binibining Pilipinas 2023 coronation night, as pageant fans were astounded by their commanding presence and queenly ensembles.
During the pageant, the former titleholders were a sight to behold in their respective ensembles as seeming reflection of their own charms — Catriona being glamorous, Nicole being edgy, and MJ being sexy.

Catriona Gray
Catriona’s first look was a more mature take on her already sensual Miss Universe 2018 evening gown, as she donned a red asymmetrical gown by Anthony Ramirez which featured a choker-like neckline.
The dress, accented with many cut-outs, hugged the former beauty queen’s curves in all the right places; the look was finished off with her hair pulled back and drop earrings.
The Filipino-Australian stunner then went on a more elegant route in her second look, which can be seen in a pink custom ballgown by Jaz Cerezo.
The magnificent dress, which features a corset-like top, extended into a silky bodice, which can be seen as a more grown-up take of a princess-like gown.
Catriona’s final look of the night was a tribute to her knack for eye-catching elements, where she wore a striking light green Resty LaGare piece. The dramatic look was finished off with a Serpenti necklace, which is considered to be a highly-coveted jewelry by fashion enthusiasts.
Nicole Cordoves
Known for her penchant for edgy pieces, Nicole’s’ first look of the night was a fiery red dress which included a low-cut neckline and cut-outs.
Her sultry look was finished off with a bun and several gem-encrusted accessories.
Nicole then took up the sultriness up a notch as she wore a see-through gown by Boom Sason.
The eye-catching piece, which was introduced during the pageant’s swimsuit competition, is a seeming combination of a two-piece bikini and a dress, as it was covered in glitter.
The sexiness was toned down in Nicole’s third look, where she wore an elegant Martin Bautista gown that included various shades of pink, purple, and ebony.

MJ Lastimosa
Meanwhile, Lastimosa’s coronation looks were a reflection of her innate sultriness, which can be seen in her blue hooded dress by Just Bonita.
MJ also flaunted her innate seductress in a striking pink latex gown by the same atelier, which is reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe’s iconic dress in the 1953 film “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.”
