Fans of Maris Racal and Barbie Forteza were delighted as they exchanged pleasantries on social media and expressed their excitement about possibly working together on a project.

Racal and Forteza said this in response to film and TV series updates page @phtvandfilmupd on Twitter, after the latter expressed its desire to see the actress joining forces in the future.

“If you could pair two Filipino actors together for a film or series, who would they be?” the tweet read.

The page then responded to its question with a thread of imagined celebrity pairs, where the actresses were also included.

Also included in the dream pairings were Charo Santos and John Arcilla, Maja Salvador and Glaiza De Castro, Dennis Trillo and Romnick Sarmenta, and Angel Aquino and Iza Calzado, among many others.

In response, Racal appeared to be excited about the possibility, as she quoted @phtvandfilmupd’s tweet while saying, “Sobrang game if ever (I’m really game to do this if ever).”

Forteza is open to the chance of working with the “Pinoy Big Brother” alum as well. “Game,” she said, as she accompanied her tweet with wink and “okay” emojis.

The actresses’ fans expressed their excitement about seeing them together onscreen, with others praising their acting skills and sense of humor. Some hoped that they would star in a girls’ love (GL) project in the future.

Racal is a homegrown talent of ABS-CBN who made a name for herself as a singer-actress. She is best known for her roles in “Here Comes The Groom,” “Pamilya Ko,” “How to Move On in 30 Days,” and “Boyette: Not a Girl Yet,” among others.

Meanwhile, Forteza gained widespread popularity after starring as Klay Infantes in the historical fantasy “Maria Clara at Ibarra.” She also appeared in the “Mano Po Legacy” teleserye series, “Meant to Be,” and “Heartful Cafe.” She is a homegrown talent of GMA. EDV
