Heart Evangelista and her husband Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero are enjoying their relaxing getaway in Venice, Italy, just days after the actress-luxury brand influencer told entertainment talk show host Boy Abunda that everything is going well now between the couple after what their relationship setback last year.
Evangelista took to Instagram on Wednesday to share glimpses of her Venetian vacation with Escudero, who was seen enjoying a cone of frozen gelato, while the former was lounging on what seemed to be a chartered boat ride.
“Venice,” she said in the caption with a location emoji.
Evangelista likewise showed snaps of baked treats such as macarons and cannoli tiramisu, and random baubles like glass displays and old stamps.
Broadcast journalist Karen Davila were among those who commented on Evangelista’s post, saying she too missed touring the the Roman city.

In her interview with Boy Abunda, Evangelista said that she and Escudero are “okay,” as she noted that everybody “goes through problems” at some point in their lives.
“Chiz and I, you know, he’s 15 years older than me. I’m a late bloomer and there’s some things I just discovered and that’s why it works because he’s so supportive. And I really appreciate him because of that. His love is very unconditional, that’s why we’re okay,” she said. Abunda then chose to not to ask any more questions about their past rift.
Evangelista earlier admitted that she was going through some “persona struggles” amid speculations of a breakup with Escudero. EDV
