Kris Aquino revealed that she is in a new relationship with a certain “Marc,” with netizens presuming that the Queen of All Media was referring to Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste.
Through her Instagram page on Thursday, May 18, Aquino made a gratitude post which she dedicated to her sons Josh and Bimby, sisters and friends. At the latter part, Aquino addressed “Marc,” a person with whom she “found both love and friendship.” It can be noted that Leviste’s name is spelled “Mark.”
“I’ve been so unfair in not thanking you enough for all your effort to be here whenever I need you; for all the times my past has made me so jaded that I keep breaking up with you, all because I didn’t believe a long distance relationship stood a chance because of your job obligations, and because I need at least two cycles of nine months each before I can hope to reach remission,” she said.
Aquino then apologized to “Marc” for “punishing” him for what others have done to her, acknowledging that he is not one of those who hurt her. She also disclosed that some of her recent photos on social media were taken by “Marc.”
“Thank you for agreeing to my request to not post pictures [and] keep our new relationship private. We are proof that love comes when you least expect it,” she stated.
“Thank you for your 12 years of perseverance,” she continued. “Whatever God decides for us, let’s please end up best friends for the rest of our lives?”
While it was not immediately made clear whether Aquino was indeed referring to Leviste, the politician left hundred points as well as yellow heart emoji in the comments section.
It can be recalled that Aquino turned down Leviste in 2020 because he lacked a “sensitivity chip” and “wasn’t polite with his text messages.” In 2021, Leviste visited Aquino in her home in Taguig and dined with Bimby and lawyer Gideon Peña.
Speculations that romance was once again brewing between the two arose earlier this year when Leviste spent New Year with Aquino in the United States. He was since seen with the Queen of All Media in several instances, but Aquino reminded Leviste in April that although he has been a “blessing” for her in her medical journey, he should dedicate his efforts to serving his constituents in Batangas. /ra
