John Estrada enjoys date with ‘best wife’ Priscilla Meirelles months after marital woes

Just a month after Priscilla Meirelles said that she and husband John Estrada were “talking a lot” about their marriage, the couple seemed to have fanned the flames of their marital woes as they were seen enjoying a romantic date.
Estrada took to his personal Instagram page on Tuesday, May 16, to share glimpses of his date with Meirelles, at what appeared to be a luxury restaurant, as well as a throwback photo of his wife with their daughter Sammanta Anechka.
“Went out with this Mom last night, definitely one of the best, [hardworking], caring, hands on, loving moms there is in this world,” he said in the caption.

The romantic date seemed to be a belated Mother’s Day date, which fell last Sunday, May 14, as the seasoned actor followed up with a brief greeting for his wife.
“Happy [Mother’s] day love [heart emojis] I love you,” he added, along with the hashtags “#bestwife” and “#bestmom.”
The veteran actor’s post comes a month after Meirelles said that “all is well” between them. “When you come to a point in your life where you’re 12 years married and you know each other so well… there is a tendency you start to somehow explain to a partner what to expect from your partner in that long-term partnership. Just like any marriage, we have our differences. We’ve been talking a lot about what we want 10 years from now. I think it’s just part of life,” Meirelles said in an interview with ABS-CBN.
The celebrity couple made headlines after the actress-former beauty queen made a cryptic post about a woman entertaining a “married man” on Instagram, then later on confirming that they are going through a rough patch in their marriage.
The “woman” Meirelles was referring to was speculated to be Cebu-based influencer Chiyo Dela Vega after the latter revealed alleged screenshots of her conversation with the former on social media. The couple, however, has yet to disclose details of their marital woes, as of this writing. EDV
