Filipino ARMYs will have the chance to get a peek into the thoughts of South Korean global sensation BTS as their upcoming memoir will be having a Filipino edition.

The Filipino edition of the “Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS” memoir will be launched on July 9, according to a statement from local publishing company APop on Monday, May 15.

“Apop is excited to be partnering with Big Hit Music to publish the Filipino edition of ‘Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS,’ launching simultaneously on July 9, 2023,” its tweet read.

Additional details will be revealed this coming June, the Quezon City-based publisher added.

Reports of BTS’ memoir emerged earlier this month, when American publishing company Flatiron Books shared a teaser about an artist getting its own memoir.

At first, the historical account was speculated to be revolving around award-winning singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, until it was confirmed to be about BTS days later.

The 544-page memoir is written by the members of BTS, namely, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, and South Korean journalist Kang Myeong-seok, according to a report from Agence France-Presse.

The members of the septet, who announced their temporary break from group activities in July 2022, are currently embarking on their respective solo activities. Meanwhile, Jin and J-Hope have enlisted in the military to fulfill their mandatory services. EDV
