Showbiz bids ‘Comedy King’ good-bye
‘Comedy King’ Dolphy continues to unite the entire entertainment industry in the wake of his passing. Although the tribute on Thursday night was organized by his last home network TV5, stars from rival stations ABS-CBN and GMA 7 paid their respects as well.
GMA 7 stars Michael V., Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez were spotted, along with ABS-CBN talents Judy Ann Santos and Sarah Geronimo at the chapel of Heritage Park.
TV5 headliners Sharon Cuneta, Willie Revillame and Cesar Montano led the tribute marked by laughter and tears.
Other celebrities spotted at the necrological service were Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzalez who came with their children Atasha and Andres,
Lorna Tolentino, Amy Perez, Ruffa Gutierrez, Maricel Soriano, Miriam Quiambao, BB Gandanghari, Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legazpi, Luz Valdez, Delia Razon, Marita Zobel, Jay Manalo, IC Mendoza; TV director Bert de Leon, singers Pilita Corrales and Karylle; comedians Arnell Ignacio and Empoy; filmmakers Laurice Guillen, Jose Javier Reyes and Joel Lamangan; talent managers Annabelle Rama, June Rufino, Dolor Guevara and Noel Ferrer; Rep. Lucy Torres-Gomez, Sen. Francis Pangilinan, Sen. Manny Villar and wife Rep. Cynthia Villar.
