LOOK: Liza Soberano stuns in sparkly ‘balintawak’ terno at Gold Gala in US
Liza Soberano was a dazzling sight to behold in a shimmering terno at the Gold Gala, which spotlights Asian American and Pacific Islanders in entertainment, held in Los Angeles, in the United States.
During the event, Soberano looked stunning in a bedazzled custom-made “balintawak” terno by Mark Bumgarner, which includes a sheer midriff, dramatic butterfly sleeves, and a figure-hugging bodice, as seen in her Instagram account on Monday, May 8. A balintawak is described as the “country” version of a terno which features butterfly sleeves, alampay, and tapis.
The actress was dolled up by makeup artist Pircilla Pae, celebrity hair stylist Ryan Richman, and celebrity stylist Perry Tabora. The dreamy look was finished with silver accessories.
“Gold Gala 2023 lewk,” she wrote in the caption, attaching a sparkle and Philippine flag emojis.
