In April, Foxx’s daughter Corrine reported that her father was recovering from a medical complication after being hospitalized in Atlanta, USA, where he was filming a new comedy with actress Cameron Diaz. No further details were provided by his family.

Foxx is renowned for his roles in films such as “Collateral,” “Django Unchained,” and “Ray,” for which he won numerous awards for best actor. He also recently appeared in “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” reprising his role as Electro.

He also starred in “Day Shift,” a 2022 American action horror comedy in which he played a pool cleaner by day and a vampire fighter by night.
