Ian Veneracion stole the limelight from the wedding of director Cathy Garcia-Molina as he sailed in the sky in a paraglider and showered petals on the couple and guests who attended the beach ceremony in Zambales
A clip of a drone video posted on Veneracion’s Instagram showed the actor landing to the cheers of guests who stood up and took videos of his caper.
“Showering you with love and petals from the sky. Congratulations Direk Cathy and Brother Louie Louie Louie!” she said, referring to Garcia’s groom, cinematographer Louie Sampana.

Assisting Veneracion on his landing were actor Joross Gamboa and comedian Jeffrey Tam, who were also wedding guests.
Netizens who commented on Veneracion’s Instagram post pointed out that his grand entrance was reminiscent of a scene from Tom Cruise’s movie “Top Gun: Maverick” wherein he paraglided off a cliff. Others praised the actor for his sweet gesture to make the couple’s wedding extra-special.
