Kapuso actress Marian Rivera spent time with her friend Boobay just days after the TV host-comedian suffered from “silent seizure” during an interview with talk show host Boy Abunda last April 20.

Rivera, accompanied by some of their friends including indie actress Ana Feleo and events organizer Teena Barretto, made an Instagram post on Saturday showing pictures of their get-together.

Boobay’s ex-BF speaks

Meanwhile, Boobay’s ex-boyfriend physiotherapist Kent Resquir advised the comedian to see na neurosurgeon following his recent attack.

Boobay recently shared that he is now doing well after receiving medical attention. He has been open about his medical condition, which he has been dealing with since suffering a stroke in 2016.

In a Facebook post, Resquir said he had already noticed the onset of silent seizures during their recent vacation in Palawan prior to Boobay’s appearance on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.”

He claimed that the ex-couple were even excited to explore the island’s beaches and jungles, but he noticed something strange happening to the comedian. Despite his concern, Boobay brushed it off and said he was just tired from work.

“At first, I thought he was just daydreaming or lost in thought, but as the days went on, I noticed it happening more frequently,” he said.

“Boobay would suddenly stop mid-sentence and stare blankly into space for a few seconds before snapping back to reality and trying to continue the conversation as if nothing had happened,” Resquir further said, adding that even though the two of them were no longer together, he still cared for the TV personality.
