Gab Valenciano is overflowing with excitement to start a new chapter in his life as he decides to move back to Los Angeles, California in the U.S. for good.
Valenciano revealed on his personal Instagram account on Friday, April 14 that his return to Los Angeles took “many years in the making.” He, however, did not disclose if his parents Gary and Angeli Pangilinan moved back to the U.S. as well.
“A new season, a new chapter, a new step. Many years in the making and finally, here we are. I am back in LA for good and ready for what’s to come. My heart is full and overflowing with excitement and gratitude,” he said in the caption.
Valenciano then recalled the past six years he spent in the Philippines, saying that his experiences and many “ups and downs” prepared him for this chapter in his life. He also thanked God for the opportunity to “reinvent” himself as he dedicated his “next phase” to those “who never gave up on me.”
“The past six years have been quite the journey. A lot of ups and downs and a whole lot of experiences that I believe have prepared me for this very moment. I am thankful for the people I’ve met and learned to love along the way. You all know who you are and I just want to say thank you and I love you, deeply. I wouldn’t be here if not for all of you,” he said.
“This is a huge leap of faith forward yet again, but I am grateful I’m able to constantly jumpstart my life and reinvent myself with God, my friends and my family by my side. That’s all that matters. To God be all glory and praise in all I do. I dedicate this next phase to those who never gave up on me,” added the performer, who in 2019 revealed that he has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and clinical depression.
The dancer-host also shared that his mother is currently on a wheelchair due to an accident which needed stitches on her foot.
“She got into an accident a few days ago and needed stitches on her foot, hence the wheelchair and cane. But she is a trooper and traveled anyway,” he added.
Fellow celebrities Jak Roberto, Darren Espanto, Melai Cantiveros, Krista Ranillo, and Erik Santos, as well as entrepreneur Angie Mead King wished Valenciano the best of luck in his new journey.

Prior to his move, Valenciano’s recent appearances in the Philippines include the Eraserheads reunion concert in December 2022 and episodes of the variety show “Wowowin.” EDV
