Joshua Garcia after Bella Racelis unfollows him on Instagram: ‘We’re good’

Just days after eagle-eyed netizens noticed that Bella Racelis is no longer following Joshua Garcia on Instagram, the actor clarified that they are still “good” although he did not clarify the status of their relationship.
Fans were sent abuzz after the lifestyle vlogger appeared to have unfollowed Garcia on Instagram as of April 11. The actor, meanwhile, still follows Racelis on the social media platform and was seen “liking” some of her recent posts.
“I can’t comment on that. But I think we’re good, I think okay kami,” the actor said during an event with reporters when he was asked about a “friend” unfollowing him on the platform.
While Garcia did not mention the “friend” he was referring to, he admitted that reports of his speculated breakup from the lifestyle vlogger have reached him.
Despite being linked to Racelis, the “Darna” star clarified that he is currently “single.” He also clarified that he’s not seeing anyone at an exclusive interview with TV personality-manager Ogie Diaz in November 2022.
“‘Yun nga e. Parang lahat na lang nali-link sa akin. Parang bawal ako magkaroon ng kaibigang babae. Marami naman akong friends [sa showbiz industry],” he said. (I know, right? It’s like every person gets linked with me. It’s like I’m not allowed to have female friends. I have a lot of female friends in showbiz.)
Among those that he counts as close friends are actresses Kathryn Bernardo and Ria Atayde, who are also part of his showbiz clique that also include Daniel Padilla and Zanjoe Marudo.
The Kapamilya actor also said that he is no longer affected with speculations surrounding his personal life since he has been in showbiz for “nine years.”
“Nasa sa iyo kung magpapa-apekto ka ba or hindi. Nine years na rin ako sa [showbiz] industry. At first, naaapektuhan ako sa mga ganyan. Palagi akong nagbabasa ng tweets, mga comments. Pero ngayon, hindi na eh. Ngayon, focused sa goals,” he added.
(It’s up to you whether you choose to be affected or not. Me, I’ve been in the showbiz industry for nine years. At first, I was affected with those. I used to read tweets and comments. But now, not anymore. I’m currently focused with my goals.)
Garcia and Racelis have been rumored to be in a relationship since August 2022 after they were spotted interacting in the comments of the latter’s Instagram post. They were also seen together on multiple occasions, including at a mall in October of the same year where they were holding hands.
Fans of the rumored couple also speculated about their romance as they appeared to have gone on a trip together with Racelis’ family in Japan in December 2022. The “Unbreak My Heart” star then greeted the vlogger with a photo of their matching bracelets two months later. EDV
