BigBang’s Taeyang is set to collaborate with Blackpink’s Lisa in his upcoming album which is set to be released in April.
The collaboration was confirmed by Taeyang’s agency, The Black Label, in an official statement via Korean media outlet Xports News on Wednesday, April 12.
“Blackpink’s Lisa will be featured in Taeyang’s new album, which is scheduled to be released in April,” the statement said.
Reports of Lisa appearing in the song’s music video also emerged, although The Black Label and the latter’s agency YG Entertainment have yet to confirm the news, as of this writing.
Taeyang previously collaborated with BTS’ Jimin for the R&B single “Vibe,” which was released in January 2023.

The soloist and BigBang member will drop his solo album “Down to Earth” on April 25 of this year. This marks his first project since transferring to The Black Label in December 2022.
Taeyang debuted as the main dancer and main vocalist of BigBang in August 2006. He is also known for his works as a solo artist where some of his most popular songs include “Wedding Dress,” “I Need A Girl,” and “Eyes, Nose, Lips,” among others.
Meanwhile, Lisa made her debut as the main dancer and lead vocalist of K-pop supergroup Blackpink in August 2016. She debuted as a solo artist with her first single album “Lalisa” in September 2021. EDV
