“@BOGUMMY REPLIED TO ME THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER,” @cheer0616 said. “I don’t know if I’ll ever move on from this cute interaction.”

The fangirl seems to be a Filipina as she retweeted a social media report from INQUIRER.net, saying “ME AND @BOGUMMY FEATURED ON PHILIPPINE NATIONAL NEWS AAAAA THIS IS ILLEGAL!!!!!!”

Apart from the fangirl, the South Korean actor also interacted with several lucky fans on his personal Twitter account.

‘I was overwhelmed’

Following the interaction, Chyr admitted to INQUIRER.net that she was “overwhelmed” with joy over the Korean actor’s response, as she praised him for taking the time to interact with his fans on social media.

“I found myself shaking, then crying after I finally realized it was real. When I read his short but very impactful reply, I panicked and felt the need to explain because I’m not sure if he understood it the way fangirls usually use the word ‘illegal,’ or maybe he knows and was just teasing. I honestly don’t know!” she began. “Nevertheless, I’m so happy that he reads and takes the time to respond to his fan’s messages. Despite him being famous and big of a star, he is still the same down to earth and approachable Bo-gum we know.”

Chyr, who has been a fan of Bo-gum since she started college, revealed that being noticed by the actor is an “unforgettable memory” as she considers it as the “best graduation gift.”

“This is really an unforgettable memory I never imagined I’d ever have. Honestly, I don’t know if I’ll ever move on from this. Bo-gum has been my inspiration since I started my college days and I’m now graduating in a few months. Literally, the best [graduation] gift ever,” she added.

The fangirl also noted that her interaction with the actor feels like she’ve “won the lottery,” since it’s rare for Korean celebrities to interact with their international fans.

“It’s something we all never expect to happen so when it does, it feels like winning the lottery! Especially, since it’s the one and only Park Bo-gum whom [Filipino fans] really love,” she added.

In January 2023, Bo-gum was confirmed as the lead of the upcoming historical K-Drama “You Have Done Well” with singer-actress IU. The series is reportedly written by Im Sang-choon who is best known for the screenplay of “Fight for My Way” starring Park Seo-joon and Kim Ji-won.

The actor is best known for taking on lead roles in the dramas “Reply 1988,” “Love in the Moonlight (2016),” “Encounter,” and “Record of Youth,” among many others. EDV
