Pokwang and K Brosas revealed to fans that their “BFF” show, which they were supposed to stage last April 2 in Las Vegas, was canceled after the show producer had allegedly committed breach of contract.

The comedians announced this through an official statement released on their respective Instagram pages on Monday, April 3.

“LX2 Entertainment Corp. deeply regrets to announce the cancellation of the highly anticipated BFF Live in Las Vegas (the ‘Show’) featuring K Brosas and Pokwang in Las Vegas on 02 April 2023, after a thorough and careful evaluation of the circumstances surrounding the contractual breach of the show’s producer, Vynz Muzik LLC,” it read.

“We extend our heartfelt apologies for any inconvenience this cancellation may have caused. Rest assured that both K Brosas and Pokwang remain dedicated to delivering exceptional performances at each of their shows,” it continued, adding that updates for the ticket refunds will be given by the producer.

Pokwang and Brosas lamented the unfortunate announcement as they addressed fans who had been looking forward to attending the show.

“We know you, we’re really looking forward to this. Unfortunately, due to cancellation, my management had no choice but to take this course of action,” Pokwang wrote. “I appreciate your patience and looking forward to [doing] this show again.”

“Nakakaiyak. Now lang nangyari sa akin/amin to sa tagal na namin nagto-tour, at nakakahiya sa mga nakabili na ng tickets. Pero wala po kaming magagawa as performers, pasesya na po,” Brosas, for her part, stated.

(This makes me cry. We have been touring for as long as we can remember and this is the first time we experienced something like this. It’s humiliating to those who have already bought tickets, but we cannot do anything about it as performers. I’m sorry.)

Prior to the Las Vegas show cancellation, Pokwang and Brosas had already staged successful shows in San Mateo and San Diego, both in California, as well as in Chicago.  /ra
