Barbie Forteza says Chicago trip is an escape from ‘unnecessary noise’
Barbie Forteza has taken a break from her busy life in the spotlight as she enjoyed some personal time in Chicago, Illinois in the United States.
Forteza said on Instagram on Wednesday, March 29 that her trip to Chicago was a temporary interlude from the “unnecessary noise,” as she made the most of her 20-day vacation.
“Felt like I was drowning from all the unnecessary noise my world has been giving me. So, I decided to come here and I’ve experienced the best 20 days of normal, calm and quiet life,” she wrote.

Following her short vacation, the Kapuso actress said that she can finally return to her “world again,” although it remains unclear whether she has already returned to the country.

Since October 2022, the actress has been enjoying a surge of popularity following the hit historical fantasy drama “Maria Clara at Ibarra” where she starred as nursing student Klay Infantes who was transported to the fictional worlds of “Noli Me Tangere” and “El Filibusterismo.”
Earlier this month, the Kapuso teleserye was included in the shortlist of the Entertainment Program: Drama category of the prestigious New York Festivals TV & Film Awards for its 2023 edition. EDV
