Is cute tandem’s on-cam sweetness all for show?
Pretty Miss (PM) and Wholesome Idol (WI) are two of Tinseltown’s hot young things. But their popularity, individually and as a tandem, truly began to take off after their management company decided to pair them up in a string of high-profile projects that banked on their youth, likability and fresh appeal.
But a gathering of seasoned writers, who were at a media conference meant to drum up interest for the network’s latest potboiler, noted how the teamup’s “dynamic” has begun to “unravel” with the way PM and WI’s handlers acquit themselves when dealing with the press.
“PM’s handlers are bold enough to ask reporters not to talk about WI when asking questions directed at PM at interviews,” noted one writer, snickering at the hard-to-miss irony of it all. Not of few of those in the writers’ huddle acknowledged that they got the same “request” from PM’s team. Can you blame them for sometimes thinking that WI and PM’s on-cam sweetness is all for show?
Oh well, with a “love team” partner like PM, who needs rivals?
