“Pinoy Big Brother” alum Patrick Sugui and his non-showbiz wife Aeriel Garcia have announced that their first child is going to be a baby girl.
The couple made the announcement by showing a sonogram of their baby through a video on their Instagram page on Monday, March 6.
“It’s a mini Ae! We found out about her gender on Valentine’s Day and kept the news to ourselves before telling our families and closest circle,” she said. “It was the best gift I have ever received in my whole life. Now we are more excited to meet our baby girl!”
The video also includes a clip of the couple opening an envelope that apparently contained the sex of their baby, as well as a photo of Garcia when she was a kid.
“You’re going to be the best girl dad my love, [Patrick Sugui],” she told him. “I love you so much nga!”
The couple received congratulatory greetings from netizens and fellow celebrities including Sue Ramirez, Marjorie Barretto and Anna Vicente via the comments section.

Sugui and Garcia tied the knot in an intimate garden wedding in April last year, after being engaged for over a year. They revealed that they were about to become parents in an Instagram post last Jan. 22. /ra
