Kapamilya stars Andrea Brillantes and Joshua Garcia are set to join forces for an upcoming project, however, additional details still remain under wraps, as of this writing.
Brillantes and Garcia made the announcement on their Instagram accounts on Wednesday night, March 1. On their respective pages, the actors shared the same photo of the two of them appearing to be wrapped in an affectionate embrace.
Secret’s out,” the actress said, as she also shared a picture of herself with Garcia who appears to be in a lovesick chase. “I can finally share that I’ve been working with @garciajoshuae for a special project. He’s an amazing actor, super hanga ako (I really admire him)! Super excited to work with him more. Abangan niyo ang #JoshDrea.”
For his part, Garcia hinted that his upcoming project with the “Kadenang Ginto” star will be used for an undisclosed brand.
“New project comin’ up! I know you’ve all been waiting for this, kaya ito na (so it’s here)!! I’m super excited to announce my new collab partner, the one and only @Blythe!! Stay tuned for more #JoshDrea,” he said.
Reactions to the Kapamilya stars’ upcoming project, however, appear to be mixed, as seen in the comments section of their respective posts.
One @hannafab said, “In this generation umay na ako sa pakilig kilig lang I want pasabog actingan!! Kasi yung chemistry naman lalabas yan pag magaling yung umaarte and definitely I’m looking forward to this if ever acting project ito. What can I say Andrea yan syempre nangangain sa actingan!”

Garcia is currently in Europe filming for the upcoming ABS-CBN and GMA collaborative teleserye “Unbreak My Heart” which also stars Jodi Sta. Maria, Gabbi Garcia, and Richard Yap. Prior to the series, he also appeared in “Darna,” “Ngayon at Kailanman,” and “The Good Son,” among others.
Meanwhile, Brillantes rose to prominence after starring as Annaliza in the 2013 teleserye of the same name.
