Bea Alonzo set to work with Ryan Cayabyab in ‘extraordinary project’
An ecstatic Bea Alonzo announced that she will be working with National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab on a project that the actress has yet to disclose.
Alonzo met the OPM icon, affectionately called by the nickname Mr. C, as well as his wife when the actress visited his music school in Ortigas, as seen on the actress’ Instagram page on Wednesday, March 1.
“So kilig that I will be working with a national artist for an extraordinary project soon,” she said in the caption. “Thank you, Mrs. C, for your encouraging words today! (Made my week!) Hindi lang daw pang banyo ang boses ko!” (She said my voice is not only meant for the bathroom!)
Alonzo was accompanied by producer Girlie Rodis and her manager Shirley, whom the actress thanked for the “fantastic opportunity.”
“I can’t wait to share with you guys about this project! I will be ticking this off my bucket list!” she added.

Cayabyab, for his part, gave a glimpse of their meeting and admitted he was star-struck by the actress, through his Instagram page.

While both Alonzo and Cayabyab did not share further details on the project, Rodis disclosed that the meeting was held in preparation for the actress’ “special participation” in a concert at the Metropolitan Theater in May.

Fellow celebrities and fans, meanwhile, are speculating that Alonzo is working on a musical play with the musician, as per the comments section.
Aside from this, Alonzo apparently has also an upcoming project with renowned director Erik Matti and producer Dondon Monteverde. /ra
