Liz Alindogan: Dolphy’s contribution to entertainment will never be forgotten

MANILA, Philippines—Actress Liz Alindogan on Tuesday night said Dolphy’s contributions to the entertainment industry would never be forgotten.

“This is a sad day because of the passing of the King of Comedy. He will never be forgotten for his contributions to the entertainment industry,” Alindogan said.

Dolphy passed away 8:34 pm Tuesday night following a cardiac arrest.

Alindogan said she extended her deepest condolences to the family and urged the Filipino people to pray for Dolphy’s soul.

She said she considered Dolphy as a father figure and that he should have been awarded the National Artist award long before.

“He should’ve been given what was due to him,” she said
