Singer-songwriter Nica del Rosario and her partner Justine Peña strengthened their love for each other, as they tied the knot once again in the Philippines.
Del Rosario and Peña held a second wedding at the Our Haven Events Place in Indang, Cavite, as seen in the Instagram page of boutique wedding photographer Matt Lee Shoots on Saturday, Feb. 18.
“Sexuality isn’t a choice but happiness is. Words that resounded today at the wedding of Jus + Nica. 150 guests fully supporting this purest form of love – family and chosen family alike,” Matt Lee Shoots’ caption read.
The couple’s wedding was attended by 150 guests, including former Vice President Leni Robredo, according to a series of photos uploaded on her Instagram Stories. It can be recalled that del Rosario, along with singer Jelo Mateo, were behind the former’s campaign song “Kay Leni Tayo” during the May 2022 presidential elections.
Del Rosario was one of the performers in Robredo’s campaign song “Rosas”, alongside Gab Pangilinan.

The “Rosas” singer donned a red dress with a veil, while Peña wore an intricate white and pink gown designed by Michael Leyva.
Del Rosario also shared a glimpse of the intimate ceremony on her personal Instagram account on Sunday, Feb. 19, where she was seen sharing her first dance with Peña.
“Heto na naman tayo hahahaha. Marami ulit kaming gustong sabihin at pasalamatan, pero sa ngayon, ibabahagi nalang muna amin ang aming first dance na kasama ang aming mga kaibigang mananayaw/Tala nation HAHAHAHA labyu guysss #JusmarriedNica #Lesbinanza2023,” she wrote.
(Here we go again. We have so much to say and thank, but for now, we’ll share a glimpse of our first dance which we’ve done with our friends. We love you, guys.)
Del Rosario and Peña tied the knot in Sydney, Australia in August 2022, where same-sex marriage is considered to be legal, even for couples who are tourist visa holders. EDV
