“We are deeply sorry that we couldn’t let you guys know sooner, but sincerely thank each and everyone that [has] patiently waited for us. Moving forward, please continue to support and love MOMOLAND and each and every member’s path,” Momoland said.

Momoland was formed through the MLD Entertainment, formerly known as Duble Kick Company, and Mnet survival show “Finding Momoland” in 2016. The group initially debuted with seven members — consisting of Hyebin, Yeonwoo, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy — in November of the same year.

Months later, “Finding Momoland” contestant Daisy and former Starship Entertainment trainee Taeha joined the group in March 2017.

The girl group gained domestic and international recognition following the release of their hit single “Bboom Bboom”, the title track of their third EP “Great!”, in January 2018.

They followed up with the hit song “Baam” in June of the same year, the lead single of their fourth EP “Fun to the World”.

MLD Entertainment, the home of K-pop acts Lapillus and TFN, as well as newly-formed pop group HORI7ON, announced Yeonwoo and Taeha’s departure from the group in November 2019. Months later, Daisy left the group in May 2020.

Momoland released their final single “Yummy Yummy Love”, a collaborative single with Dominican singer Natti Natasha, in January 2022. Among their final appearances as a group include the “Ripples for Hope” joint concert with K-pop groups Everglow and Akdong Musician in Manila in November of the same year. EDV
