For her 52nd birthday, Kris Aquino revealed that her recent medical results posed a “scary red flag,” but nevertheless she is grateful for the “best gift” she has been receiving from the public—prayers.

The Queen of All Media found a home in the United States where she and her family will temporarily stay while she undergoes treatment, as per her Instagram page on Monday, Feb. 13. Aquino said they had been searching for months before they found the house with “excellent location” and with a “beautiful view of the sea.”

She noted that it would not be their “permanent base” because the house is located quite far from the hospitals, and it has no space where she can isolate once her treatment starts.

“We are 14 hours behind (Philippine) time, in advance, THANK YOU because you continue to give me the best gift anybody in my situation could ask for, your prayers,” she wrote.

“I have a wonderful support system from my [two] sons, Alvin, Rochelle, Ate Rome, old friends [and] new friends here in the [US], but you need to be a very determined man of your word to fly 13 hours each way to spend a few days with me on my birthday,” she continued, opting not to name the man she was referring to. “For his effort I am GRATEFUL.”

Aquino then gave an update on her recent medical results, admitting that the “scary red flag” initially affected her, but stressed that she surrenders all to God.

“I promised myself after reading my latest results that had [one] unexpected [and] admittedly scary red flag (not autoimmune related) after iniyak ko na, TAMA NA (after I cried over it, then it was enough),” she stated. “If ever that borderline number signals early detection, I am still blessed. IN FAITH I SURRENDER ALL to GOD.”

“Sa dami niyong nagdarasal for me, kung umabot na kailangan ng mas aggressive na treatment (at a higher dosage it’s considered chemotherapy), imposibleng hindi tayo pagbibigyan ng ating Mahal na Ama,” she added.

(Given that so many of you have been praying for me, if ever there would be a need for a more aggressive treatment (at a higher dosage it’s considered chemotherapy), it will be impossible that our beloved Father will not grant our prayers.)
