Crowd gathers at Makati Medical Center

MANILA, Philippines – A crowd gathered at the Makati Medical Center where actor-comedian Rodolfo “Dolphy” Quizon died Tuesday evening following a long bout with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

So far, no member of his family has gone out to issue a statement.

A security guard told INQUIRER.net that there were about 40 going around the hospital premises for crowd control.

Common law wife Zsa Zsa Padilla confirmed to ABS-CBN reports that the “Comedy King” died at 8:34 p.m.

Dolphy, whose television and movie career spanned more than six decades, was a talent of ABS-CBN before moving to TV5.
