Willie Revillame reminds critics he loved, helped out: ‘Kayo ang may utang na loob sa akin, hindi ako’
Willie Revillame is further speaking up on the rumored break of his show “Wowowin,” addressing this time the critics he said he once loved and helped out in the past but are now speaking ill of him.
The TV host did not hold himself back as he gave an account of the unnamed individuals who supposedly called him “mayabang” (arrogant) and “nagpapaawa” (appealing to pity) after Revillame’s remark to those rejoicing over the supposed halting of ALLTV’s programs.
“Maraming naglalabasan ngayon at talagang medyo winawasak ang pagkatao ko, sinisiraan. Meron akong mga taong minahal at tinulungan… sinabihan pa akong mayabang ngayon,” he said during “Wowowin” episode on Tuesday, Feb. 7.
(There are a lot [of people] who have recently been speaking ill of me. Those people who I loved and helped out [in the past], now they are calling me arrogant.)
Revillame said that one of the personalities he was referring to was a “reporter” from ABS-CBN who ran for a councilor post in the past. He said the said individual, who has been “hosting” with two other persons, asked Revillame for financial help during the elections.

Revillame added that the said celebrity got married in Tagaytay and that the celebrity’s parents stayed in the TV host’s house in the area.

During the said interview, Revillame and Roque were talking about the network that lost its franchise at the time. While there were no names mentioned, it can be noted that ABS-CBN lost its franchise bid in the same year.
“Hindi na ako matatakot sa inyong lahat, laban na ito kung laban. Masyado niyo na akong inaapi,” Revillame stated. “Tirahin niyo ako minu-minuto, I don’t care dahil kayo ang may utang na loob sa akin, hindi ako. Tandaan niyo ‘yan.”
(I am no longer afraid of you, this is already a fight. You are oppressing me. Even if you attack me every minute, I don’t care because you are the ones who owe me debts of gratitude. Keep that in mind.)
“Sasabihin ko ang pangalan niyo in time,” he declared. (I will reveal your names in time.)
Revillame reiterated that the ALLTV management has not spoken to him about its programs’ rumored break from airing. He also clarified that the show “M.O.M.S: Mhies on a Mission,” hosted by Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla, Ruffa Gutierrez and Ciara Sotto, is just on “pause” while the management is improving the network’s “signal” and “reach.”
“‘Yung nagmamahal sa akin, ipaglaban niyo naman itong programa natin… kasi itong programang ito ay para sa inyo,” he appealed to the viewers. “Limang milyon isang buwan ang ginagawa ng programang ito at sa tulong din ng ALLTV. Kailangan malaman nila ‘yung totoo.”
(Those who love me, please fight for our program because this show is for you. This program gives out five million pesos monthly with the help of ALLTV. They need to know the truth.) /ra
