Gary Valenciano was ecstatic as he welcomed his second grandchild, Luciano Mikael, the newborn son of Paolo Valenciano and his wife, Samantha Godinez.
Paolo and Godinez announced the arrival of Luciano through their respective Instagram pages on Friday, Feb. 3.
“My son opening his eyes for the first time,” Paolo said, showing a video of his son.
Gary then introduced his grandson to the public by giving a glimpse of his and Luciano’s first meeting. The singer, along with his wife Angeli as well as their two other children Gab and Kiana, visited Luciano, Paolo and Godinez at the hospital where she gave birth.
“I can’t wait to carry you and tell you many stories about the greatest force in the universe…the love of God! I know this force will be strong in you,” Gary wrote in the caption. “Pappie is here for you just like I’m here for your sister Leia.”
“I thank the Lord for you. I love you Luc,” he added. “I am your grandfather!”

Gab, for his part, congratulated the couple for their bundle of joy, and treated fans to more moments from their visit.
Luciano is Paolo and Godinez’s second child. The couple welcomed their firstborn Leia in 2016. /ra
